Europeana gets a makeover

As well as offering new functionality, including adaptations for iPads and Android touch screens, users will now be able to search by copyright, making it easier to identify and target public domain content.  Europeana already includes almost half a million public domain items. 

Other enhancements include increased interactivity, automatic translation, more precise searching and enhanced browsing.
