The EU's privacy watchdog, which represents the data protection bodies of 28 member states, has stated it is still concerned about the privacy settings of Microsoft Windows 10.
The EU had previously raised concerns with Microsoft about its default installation settings which meant users apparently losing control of much of their data.
Several individual member states have also been making enquiries into Windows 10 and France has already ordered Microsoft to stop collecting what it considers to be excessive user data.
Microsoft has said it plans to improve its privacy setting menu in its planned Windows 10 update.
