DuckDuckGo has released an upgraded mobile app and browser extension which include tracker network blocking and smarter encryption along with the private search functionality it is known for.
The updated app and extension are available across all major platforms, including Firefox, Safari, iOS and Chrome.
Users will see a Privacy Grade rating (A-F) when they visit a website. The Privacy Grade is scored automatically based on the prevalence of hidden tracker networks, encryption availability, and website privacy practices. This rating shows at a glance how protected users on each website they visit.
