De Gruyter and Iberoamericana Vervuert ebook partnership

Deal will see over 1000 backlist titles digitised and made visible to an international audience.

Academic publisher De Gruyter has entered into a partnership with humanities publisher Iberoamericana Vervuert to distribute ebooks. Over 1500 front and backlist Iberoamericana Vervuert titles will be sold alongside De Gruyter’s Romance Studies publishing programme to create an eBook collection for Romance Languages, Literatures and Cultural Studies.

Iberoamericana Vervuert is a leading scholarly publisher in Spanish and Latin American Studies and publishes approximately 75 new titles per year.

Tom Clark of De Gruyter stated:

"We are incredibly proud of our growing Romance Studies publishing program, which has a 150-year-old tradition. The cooperation with Iberoamericana Vervuert allows us to offer two first-class programs in a single digital collection and to further strengthen the programme as a whole. This provides for a better collection for libraries in international markets and offers the research community simple access to leading research in all Romance languages”.
