Bowie archivist discovers rare radio show

The man in charge of the David Bowie back catalogue has discovered a 15-minute 'faux' radio show.

The recording, which was never broadcast, was made in 1973 to promote the album Pin Ups. It features the singer talking about the tracks on the album and the contemporary London music scene.

Nigel Reeve explained that he discovered the tape, which was simply labeled ‘radio show’, while undertaking research.

The recordings are being broadcst by BBC6Music.
