The UK is set to lose the top spot of social network users in Western Europe by the end of 2013. Estimates by eMarketer suggest that by the end of the year, there will be 32.1 million social network users in the UK and 33.1 million in Germany. Their predictions show that German figures will continue to grow faster than those in the UK.
The UK, however, retains the top spot of Facebook users in Western Europe.
