Google acquires AI company DeepMind

Acquisition estimated at $400 million.

Google has acquired the London-based firm DeepMind. Founded two years ago DeepMind specialises in machine learning and aims to “develop computers that think like humans”.

Recently Google has been investing in robotics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) acquisitions in a bid to develop ‘infinitely more intelligent’ products.
